Day 1:  Marrakch - Ait Ben haddou - Ouarzazate - bomalne Dades

Depart from your Riad/Hotel in Marrakech and drive towards Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the fortified city which was listed as a UNICCO world heritage since 1987. The kasbah is a great example of the earthen architecture used in Morocco and the most outstanding kasbah in the Southern Morocco. After, we move to Boumalne Dades passing through the City of Ouarzazate which is an attractive location for film makers with the biggest studios in Morocco. From Ouarzazate continue to Boumalne Dades where we will dine and overnight.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades - Erfoud - Rissani - merzouga 

After breakfast, we will see the outstanding Dades gorges which offer a majestic view due to its spectacular rocks formation and beautiful sceneries before continuing our journey towards the Sahara desert of Merzouga passing through several Berber villages and small cities including Tinghir, Tinjdad, Erfoud, and Rissani. Arrive to your accommodation in Merzouga where you will be welcomed with a cup of mint tea to take a while of relax before leaving your baggage at your accommodation and start a camel trek  of about 40 minutes to your equipped camp in the middle of the dunes where you will spend the night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga area exploration

After watching the sunrise and trekking back to your accommodation for breakfast and showers, we will start exploring Merzouga and the villages nearby as well as making Erg Chebbi dunes tour. So we will visit the beautiful lake of Merzouga with its attractive birds and wild life. After continue our journey to the Berber village of Khamlia where most of the people are black, make a stop here to see the village and possibly have a cup of tea.  Our next stop will be the golden dunes near the Algerian borders. It’s possible to have a picnic there as it would be amazing how it feels to stand there and enjoy the quietness and life simplicity. Visit a Nomad family where you will be introduced to them and explore their way of life before continuing the dunes tour till we reach Yassmina then back to your accommodation. 

Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Nakoub - Ouarzazate

Today, we will set up for Ouarzazat passing through Rissani where we will stop to see the traditional Souk before heading to Alnif which is a famous destination for a lot of geologists and fossil collectors. Continuing our journey, we will visit Nkoub, a beautiful village of palm grove with many Kasbahs. The Village is historically rich if you go in the deep of its population and the culture of the Berber Ait Atta tribe that has a long history in the region. After, we carry on to the Hollywood of Ouarzazat city where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast, we visit and explore the film studio of Ouarzazat, it’s the first film Studio located in North Africa. It was created in 1983 and is open to visitors, so you can go inside and explore Tibetan Temple, Egyptian palaces, Kasbahs and many other things the studio has to offer for its visitors. After, visit Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Kasbah in the South of Morocco and in the country as a whole. After exploring this historical monument, we head to Marrakech via Tizi N Talghamt in the High Atlas Mountains offering a spectacular view of the Mountains peaks, Berber villages, and landscapes.
